  1. The great Archie Moore was once punched below the belt in a bout. Asked to comment after the fight he said these things happen in the heat of the fray. 46 years ago as he sent me to Muni Ct to try a fender bender John Miller told me that was a good lesson for every trial lawyer. Sadly it is a lesson law profs never learn. So leave Hasen to his arguments in the 9th Cir and Cal S. Ct. and remember he never argued in Lincoln.

  2. The greatest insult you can deliver to a law prof is to ignore him.

    Say what you have to say, and ignore the critics. Even me, if you have to. As Scalia said, “What are they going to do? I have life tenure.”

  3. Curmudgeon, You can not ignore a law professor, he or she will just think you are standing back in awe.
